Long-term babysitting needed for reliable, playful care

I’m looking for a trustworthy babysitter for ongoing, long-term care for my two kids (ages 4 and 7). The role involves after-school pickups, homework help, and light meals, plus bedtime routine on most weeknights. We value someone patient, energetic, and comfortable with imaginative play, crafts, and outdoor time. Please have previous experience with children, references, and a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one. We prefer someone who can commit at least 6–8 hours per week and be flexible with occasional weekend coverage. Non-smoker, able to join us for weekly planning to align on routines and safety rules. A friendly, proactive communicator is a big plus.
