Job Description
- Conduct routine plain clothes patrols of the site (interior and exterior), maintaining a covert presence to observe suspicious and criminal activity under all statues and laws.
- The Loss Prevention Officer may be required to effect an arrest in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada when lawful grounds exist.
- Monitor CCTV and access control systems to detect and respond to irregular or suspicious behaviour.
- Prevent unauthorized entry, trespassing, and loss of property through proactive surveillance and incident management.
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established protocols.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, logbooks, and shift summaries.
- Engage respectfully with site staff, visitors, clients, and members of the public.
