Low Voltage Technology Engineer - MEP

**Overview**

Kimley- Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Sr. Low Voltage Technology Design Leader to expand our MEP practice in San Diego, CA and throughout Southern California!

**Responsibilities**

+ Lead and execute designs for Technology systems (Telecommunication rooms, structured Cabling systems, and Pathways infrastructure); Nurse Call, Infant Protection, Electronic Safety and Security Systems (Video Surveillance and Access Control); and Audiovisual Systems.
+ Develop and evaluate low voltage system Technology System concepts and options to determine best design and engineering solution for each project based upon project scope.
+ Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, industry standards, and other applicable codes related to the design and layout of low voltage and telecommunications systems.
+ Develop detailed design drawings, develop design narratives and CSI specifications for bidding and construction.
