How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:20 bed telemetry PCU specializes in the care and management of all general and bariatric surgery patients. This unit houses the majority of Enhanced Recovery (ERAS) patients. They also serves as the alternate unit for neuro/trauma surgery patients, hospitalist/medicine patients, and urology/other surgery patients.
The LPN (inpatient) practices practical nursing within the parameters set forth in Carilion Clinics Plans for the Provision of Patient Care and functions under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Partners with the RN in collecting data, planning, implementing and evaluating patient/resident care.
