Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. To assist the Director of Nursing Services in the screening and oversight of the health care of all children assigned to their care.
2. To assist the Director of Nursing Services in education and training of staff and clients as directed in health care issues, policies, and procedures.
3. To provide emergency oversight of medical services as needed for clients and staff.
4. Assists as directed in the maintenance of systems and processes related to health care functions to include infection control, employee health, and other areas as assigned.
5. Maintains high standard of personal and interpersonal functioning in job performance.
6. To monitor Child Care staff in the performances of their health care responsibilities.
