THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Summary/Objective : Provide basic medical and nursing care. Ensure the comfort of patients, discuss health care with patients, and report status of patients to registered nurses and physicians.
Essential Functions • Summons and prepares patient for office visit.• Set up rooms and trays for scheduled procedures.• Assist provider with clinic procedures.• Administer medications and/or vaccines as needed.• Identifies and evaluates the patient needs by way of telephone triage.• Recognizes and responds appropriately to GYN emergencies.• Adheres to Nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in the patient's medical record• Is an active member of the care team and may include additional duties related to care coordination.
