LPN/CMA Seymour Peds Full Time Days

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assists and performs nursing functions under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor. All functions performed are within the limits of the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act and nursing policies and procedures.

• Nurse Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Supervisory Responsibilities: NO
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree required
Degree: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing required
License/Certification Required: Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Tennessee
Minimum Work Experience: 1-year pediatric experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Skills as outlined in the LPN orientation checklist
• Effective communication skills
