Role Summary
The LRU Assembler is responsible for the accurate and high-quality assembly of electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs) into mechanical enclosures used in aerospace Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The role requires precision, adherence to IPC and aerospace industry standards, and the ability to interpret assembly drawings and work instructions. The assembler will work in an ESD-controlled environment and collaborate with quality, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant product assembly.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electronic PCBs into mechanical housings following work instructions and engineering drawings
Perform mechanical integration including fastening, torquing, and alignment of subassemblies
Apply ESD-safe handling practices and comply with cleanroom protocols
Use hand tools, torque tools, and microscopes to ensure accurate assembly
Record assembly steps and traceability information in production logs
