Machine Operative + FLT Driver

Job Title: Machine Operative + FLT Driver – Late Shift (16:00 – 00:30)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative with FLT licence to join our team on a late shift (4:00pm – 12:30am). This is a hands-on role in a busy yard and production environment, offering a varied workload and long-term opportunity.

Pay: £12.21ph

Location: Preston. Ribbleton (near Resdcar Indistrial Estate)

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Use Forklift Truck (FLT) to load/unload vehicles and move materials around site.

* Secure loads quickly, safely, and methodically.

* Ensure production targets are met by working effectively within a team.

* Carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks (refuelling, lubrication, greasing).

* Report any machinery defects, breakdowns, or safety concerns immediately.
