Job Summary

The Machinist is a key member of the Manufacturing Team, responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machinery—including engine lathes, milling machines, CNC lathes, and keyway machines—to produce high‑quality parts that meet customer specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate and process parts accurately and efficiently according to engineering prints and traveler instructions.

Monitor machine performance, utilization, and output quality.

Set up and safely run multiple types of equipment such as engine lathes, milling machines, CNC lathes, and keyway machines.

Safely operate additional shop equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, drills, and various hand tools.

Troubleshoot machining issues during production and make necessary adjustments.
