The position is responsible to operate a variety of equipment in the manufacturing of products for both external and internal customers, producing high quality rod and complex fabrications.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES


Programs, sets up and operates CNC and manual equipment: swagger, Fenn mill, centerless grinder, saw, punch press, shearing, bending, and spot welding. Collaborates with process engineering in the development and optimization of techniques to improve fabrication processes for internal equipment and furnace assemblies. Inspects and maintains equipment and fixtures in the fabrication work center Inspects material to ensure product adheres to specifications outlined by the production order and notifies the supervisor of any problems and/or material defects.
