Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and set up optical blanking, core drilling or surface grinding equipment for ZnSe optics processing
Follow approved work instructions and process parameters
Perform in-process and post-process inspections
Monitor surface quality, defects, and dimensional requirements
Handle ZnSe parts carefully to prevent scratches or damage
Record process data, inspection results, and abnormalities
Coordinate with supervisors for quality concerns and disposition
Maintain tool condition and basic equipment housekeeping.
Education & Experience
Associate degree, college level or equivalent (machines/vocational background preferred). High School and Sr High school graduate are welcome to apply.
Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
