Machine Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and set up optical blanking, core drilling or surface grinding equipment for ZnSe optics processing
• Follow approved work instructions and process parameters
• Perform in-process and post-process inspections
• Monitor surface quality, defects, and dimensional requirements
• Handle ZnSe parts carefully to prevent scratches or damage
• Record process data, inspection results, and abnormalities
• Coordinate with supervisors for quality concerns and disposition
• Maintain tool condition and basic equipment housekeeping.

Education & Experience

• Associate degree, college level or equivalent (machines/vocational background preferred). High School and Sr High school graduate are welcome to apply.
• Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
