Machine Operator MO1-C

POSITION: Machine /Setter Operator ( 3 shifts: days/afters/nights)

FUNCTION: Operations

REPORTS TO: Department Supervisor

Main purpose of the role:

Responsible for operating various machines within the manufacturing cells, including changeovers, machine condition and setting, whilst working safely and maintaining quality against the standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all aspects of setting, condition setting for jobs and condition alteration to remedy quality issues.

· Expected to work on own initiative and use own judgment in absence of technician. Always compliant with RA/SOPs/work standards etc associating with each process

· Responsible for maintaining department KPI’s (5s, scrap reduction, inventory, safety and productivity) to factory set targets for the department with increased responsibility for designated equipment.
