Short Description There is an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator: Welding at our Durban branch

Role summary:

Welding, fabrication, cutting, measuring and maintenance of PERI steel components

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures and understanding how the final product should look.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws structural imperfections in the metal.
• Maintain equipment in a good condition that does not compromise safety.
