MACHINE SAFETY ENGINEER

Job Description

The (EHS) Machine Safety Engineer will work closely with EHS, manufacturing, facilities, engineering and maintenance groups to reduce hazards and ensure a safe working environment by leading equipment risk assessments and process hazard analysis. The Engineer will evaluate equipment design, suggest modifications, and drive safety improvements to support the organization’s safety programs. This position reports to the Machine Safety Manager and collaborates with many areas across the company.

• Execute safety inspections on complex machinery and report findings to stakeholders.
• Deliver MSG training and assess its effectiveness.
• Verify new machinery and technologies are released according to standards.
• Analyze KPI trends and propose actions to close the gaps.
