Machine Specialist

I. Job Summary

A machine Specialist (or Operator/Technician) ensures the safe, efficient operation, set up, and maintenance of industrial machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance and repairs, monitoring production qualitity, and training staff. They analyze machine performance to maximize productivity, maintain, and document maintenance logs , and adhere to safety protocols.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

A. Production Operations

• Raw and Packaging Materials Preparation. Check all materials according to the production plan; verify that quantity, quality, and weight are correct based on specifications.
• Machine Setup. Conduct daily start-up procedure. Adjust equipment settings and check all valves, pipes, and utility connections before starting.
• Daily Cycle. Strictly follow procedures for daily machine start-up, production, shut-down, and shift turn-overs. Ensures proper turnover of the machi...
