Core Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Assist in setting up and operating stranding machines, including loading wire spools (payoffs) and ensuring proper tension.
• Production Monitoring: Monitor the stranding process to ensure consistent quality, identifying issues like broken strands, improper tension, or machine malfunctions.
• Material Handling: Load and unload heavy materials, including raw wire spools and finished cable reels, using overhead cranes, forklifts, or manual lifting.
• Quality Inspection: Measure finished products using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform routine preventative maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating machines, and replacing worn parts.
• Documentation: Maintain production logs, recording quantities produced, down time, and material usage.
