Machinist/QA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect all machined and fabricated jobs to ensure compliance with drawing, process and customer specifications.
• Monitor in-process jobs throughout the shop to prevent non-conformance issues.
• Inspect items received from a sub-contracted process prior to the release to customer or to the next process to ensure compliance with drawing, process and customer specifications.
• Prepare and maintain quality documents such as certificates of compliance or dimensional reports as per customer requirements.
• Maintain a calibration system for all company owned and employee owned measuring instruments.
• Assist and troubleshoot employee production issues relating to drawing and process interpretation and proper measurement techniques.
• Promote high expectations, efficiency and safety in the work environment.
