Mainframe Developer (Junior Level)

Experience with Mainframe Cobol, CICS, should be senior.



Required Skills:

1. Foundational programming skills with the ability to prototype, develop, and unit test application components. 2. Working knowledge of at least one programming language or development environment (Mainframe, COBOL, Java, etc.).

3. Ability to follow institutional development standards, coding guidelines, and system-wide business rules.

4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills for interpreting requirements and resolving coding issues.

5. Good documentation and communication skills to support structured development processes.



Scope of Work:

1. Prototype, develop, and unit test assigned application modules or program fragments.

2. Write clean, maintainable code in alignment with approved development standards and business policies.

3. Execute unit testing and document results to validate program functionality.
