Mainframe Developer (Lac-Brome)

Pay Range: CAD 55-60/hr Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications across batch and online (IMS Transaction) environments. Work extensively with COBOL, JCL, DB2, TSO/ISPF, IMS DC/DB, and/or VSAM. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and DB2-related components. Utilize job scheduling tools and source control systems to manage development lifecycle. Support file transfer integrations using EBX and TIBCO services for vendor-to-host and host-to-vendor file exchange. Perform data processing using DFSORT and ICETOOL utilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production and application issues. Ensure all code adheres to internal quality, security, and compliance standards.
