Mainframe Modernization Engineer (Healthcare)

**CTG is seeking to fill a Mainframe Modernization Engineer (Healthcare) position for our client.**

**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 12 months

**Duties:**

+ Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and mainframe program logic.
+ Design, develop, and maintain **COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM** applications supporting healthcare and Medicaid systems (CA-MMIS).
+ Support **Medicaid Accounts Receivable (AR)** and cash control processing.
+ Perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
+ Implement and support **z/OS Connect** APIs to integrate mainframe applications with **AWS and cloud-based systems** .
+ Implement and support **Data Virtualization Manager (DVM)** APIs to expose legacy data to modern platforms.
+ Participate in mainframe modernization initiatives including API enablement, service integration, and hybrid cloud support.
