Maintenance and Gardening Officer

About the Role:

Are you an experienced maintenance officer that can assist with the general maintenance and gardening of our 144 bed aged care home?

Your role will be to maintain the building and grounds of our building to a high standard, having regard for the comfort and wellbeing of residents and advising on replacement or repairs as required.   

You will also have close support from the Maintenance Supervisor on site as well as the Maintenance Manager and GM of Property Services.

About you:

• Experienced in building maintenance 
• Experienced in gardening/landscaping is desirable
• Knowledge of Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential
• Understanding of all legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs i.e. OH&S & Fire/Evacuation
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment
