Position Details

Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker (Maintenance Coordinator) – Part‑time, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday AM shifts. Location: New Plymouth, Taranaki. Application Deadline: 12 Jun 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of the care home, including routine and preventive upkeep.
• Handle gardening duties and maintain the building exterior.
• Execute minor building repairs, plumbing, painting, and carpentry as required.
• Collaborate with the Care Home Manager to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Adhere to quality standards and serve residents with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry (preferred but not essential).
