Maintenance Engineer

Responsibility & Authority:

• Develop & Implement Preventive, Corrective and Predictive Maintenance improvement framework to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs and abating the risk of critical equipment breakdown or interruption
• Set up an effective system of recording and monitoring of defects and breakdown reports in order to take remedy and immediate actions to minimize shut down times
• Ensure that the personnel working in this team has acquired the right skill, are given proper training and are up-dated with the latest method, procedures and requirements
• Must be hands-on and lead a small team of technicians in performing machine maintenance in respective section to achieve set targets of machine efficiency, up-time and utilization
• Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets
