Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Fitter (mechanical) to join our maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Newcastle. The maintenance team is highly safety focused and process driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers on the job training for any knowledge gaps with permanent and stable employment.
 
Shift Details include:


  • Roster is a 9-day fortnight, depending on role it will be either Day Work or Shift Work as required. 

    • Hourly rate: $. - $./hr (also % Shift Allowance where applicable)
     
    Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Execution of preventative maintenance

  • Breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting

  • Overhauling fixed plant and operational equipment

  • Provide feedback via the maintenance management system

  • Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks
