Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB 
The role is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and performance of terminal equipment and facilities in order to maintain smooth operational conditions.
The incumbent shall ensure inspections and maintenance regime for plant equipment and installations is implemented as per the annual maintenance plan and strategy set by Engineering.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible specifically in the areas of:
Maintenance
Equipment compliance
Cost Control
CAPEX
Budgeting & Cost Control
Monitoring Regulatory Compliance
CONTROL PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (Tools methods used by management to determine sustained effectiveness of control)
Terminal equipment availability and reliability
Accurate cost forecasting / budgeting for projects
Frequency and severity of incidents due to maintenance non-compliance
Planned Budget vs. Actual costs
