Our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Durban, is looking to fill the position of Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maximise efficiency of maintenance operations:
2. Plan, develop and implement systems/strategy for maintenance management and development to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.
3. Ensure that the maintenance team is resourced to achieve organisational goals.
4. Implement maintenance systems and strategy to ensure these resources keep up to world-class norms.
5. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of maintenance management and development.
6. Monitor, measure and report on maintenance issues, opportunities, and development plans.
7. Manage and develop direct reporting staff.
