Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic will be primarily responsible for assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of production equipment within the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assist with diagnosing, tearing down, and repairing problems or equipment on plant systems
+ Work from drawings, plans or sketches, fabricating equipment, fixtures, devices, etc. as required
+ Utilize test equipment, instruments, measuring devices and controls, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment
+ Assist in maintaining workflow of maintenance work requests.
+ Track progress of work orders, work to close work requests in a timely manner
+ Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the facility
+ Operates lifting devices as trained by Materion Safety
