Requirements

• Mechanical Technician 5 years experience as a tradesman in the mechanical trade is an asset.
• Proficient with computer software.
• Strong written and oral skills.
• Results oriented and can research independently to add value to any job via critical information.
• Prioritizes and effectively deals with multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance work (including preventative maintenance).
• Schedules manpower for major repairs, overhauls and maintains a backlog of work for the area maintenance crew.
• Maintains accurate reports.
• Schedules, organizes and conducts weekly meetings.
• Secures contractors as required for equipment maintenance.
• Participates in solving safety and environmental issues, as required.
