Job Description

Job Purpose
To perform skilled preventative and predictive maintenance as a journey level mechanic.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Receive oral and/or written instructions from supervisor.
Make repairs to plant equipment as needed to eliminate operating problems.
Perform welding and fabrications as per drawings and blueprints.
Routinely check operating condition of equipment and maintain records, as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed and maintain record.
Make installations and alignments to ensure proper equipment operations.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Work overtime as needed (Unscheduled downtime), and On Call
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
