Overview

Maintenance Shift Engineer – Location: Poole. Salary: £46,000 + overtime + pension + benefits. Shift Pattern: Days (8-3) or Continental Days.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer
• Ideally Medium to Heavy Manufacturing
• Understanding of TPM and PPM Systems

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several engineering areas within a heavy machinery environment.
• From a medium to heavy engineering background, able to work on own initiative; time-served engineer.
• Experience with PPM & TPM systems, fault finding, identifying root causes and preventing recurrence of issues quickly.
• Capable of working unsupervised and within a team.
• Conversant with fast-moving machinery such as belts, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic presses and gearboxes.
