Maintenance Team Member

The successful candidate

will join a team of two full-time staff responsible for the care, cleanliness, and upkeep of our school building and grounds. Qualifications: Minimum 18 months of experience in a similar maintenance or custodial role Grade 12 graduation or equivalent Clear criminal record check The ideal candidate will be: Friendly and professional with strong communication skills Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently Highly organized and attentive to detail Physical Requirements: Able to perform repetitive tasks and handle physically demanding work Comfortable lifting heavy loads and performing tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain floors, hallways, and stairwells (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing) Empty waste containers and manage recycling and garbage removal Clean windows, interior walls, ceilings, and bathrooms Perform minor repairs on furniture, fixtures, and school systems Mo...
