Maintenance Technician - Generalist

The Maintenance Technician – Generalist will oversee a wide range of repairs, for the University. These tasks include but are not limited to general carpentry, drywall repair, painting and preventative maintenance. This position will be responsible for a whole host of repairs and duties across the campus to help keep things running smoothly.

Key Areas of Accountability

• Provide a wide range of repairs and installation with primary focus on plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, and plumbing system, while also supporting repairs on different fixtures and fittings including furniture, doors and windows.
• Inspect work sites to determine necessary repairs, methods of repair, and tools/supplies needed.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary and storm drainage, fixtures, valves, pumps, and associated components.
