Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Technician I will provide technical expertise in all aspects of laboratory equipment. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for following all regulatory requirements, maintenance procedures, common safe mechanical guidelines and good housekeeping practices while performing their duties. The Maintenance Technician I will give technical advice to users and staff regarding the proper use and care of lab equipment.

Essential Duties: 
General
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all laboratory equipment
Maintain and operate Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS)
Recommend new equipment to meet laboratory needs
Assist in facility maintenance functions
Maintain maintenance procedure files
