Maintenance Technician

Job description

Machine / Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring operation of industrial equipment, its repair and upkeep by performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, including supporting equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive or predictive maintenance.
• Using mechanical and electrical knowledge in trouble shooting to maintain the manufacturing equipment systems.
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Interacts with production group for support with setup repair items as needed.
• Performs detailed analysis and recommend repair solutions when equipment is not performing up to mechanical or electrical design expectations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
