Maintenance Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, experienced maintenance worker to join our team at the Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge.

This position involves varied work, which keeps the days interesting and provides a good level of job satisfaction for the right person.

Must have a positive attitude, self‑starter and team player. Strong attention to detail is a must.

Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities. Proven maintenance experience.

Able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Physically able to lift multiple heavy loads and shovel snow.

Must speak, read and understand English. Able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Ideally have experience with commercial swimming pools / hot tubs and running a skid steer for snow clearing.

On the job training will be given regardless of experience to assure staff confidence and that proper practices are followed.
