At a time when philanthropic support has never been more important to public media, the Major Gifts Officer (Director of Individual Giving) will develop a portfolio of up to 150 individual donors giving at the $10,000 level and above, and major gifts at the six, seven, and eight-figure level for the KQED Campaign, through 2029. The portfolio will be balanced with loyal supporters in need of discovery and qualification, and prospects capable of making major and principal gifts commitments. The MGO will conduct a minimum of 10-12 visits with donors each month, following moves management best practices.
