Major Maintenance Planner (Scotford)

Job Overview

The Major Maintenance Planner role is to enable efficient execution of work by developing detailed work plans for high‑complexity maintenance work scopes—including boiler repairs, furnace decokes, exchanger cleaning, exchanger bundle replacements, pond cleaning/inspection/repairs, pipeline inspection digs, and more. The role also supports planning of unplanned, short‑duration outage scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifies task description, required resources, materials, services, tools, duration, and cost estimate of each task, and provides guidance for efficient and effective scheduling and execution.
• Assesses and obtains input from engineering, maintenance technicians and operations when evaluating the initial scope of work.
• Validates job scope by performing job site visits with applicable technical disciplines and execution peers.
