Reporting to the Director, Health Services and working as a member of the management team the Manager, Acute & Ambulatory Care is directly responsible for planning, developing, monitoring and evaluating the day to day operations related to emergency and outpatient services, pharmacy, and specialty program areas such as day surgery and palliative care.

The incumbent is responsible for administering a budget of $1.5 Million and directly supervises 45 positions, including clinical General Duty and Specialty R.N.’s, Health Care Aide’s, Unit Clerks, Midwives, Pharmacy, MDR, and administrative staff. The incumbent works with other patient/client care managers and teams to ensure proper assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient/client care outcomes.
