Position Overview

A Manager – Assurance team in Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops offices. The Manager will review and lead assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies. Key activities include preparing financial statements, conducting due diligence, supporting capital‑raising and tax services, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.

Responsibilities

Review assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and firm policies are followed.

Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and non‑assurance engagements.

Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis.

Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using strong technical skills and accounting experience.
