Manager, Core Lab - Laboratory - Full Time

Summary

Position will be the primary manager of core laboratory functions throughout the departmental shifts, inclusive of Processing, Phlebotomy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Hematology, Coagulation, and Blood Bank. Position will assure technical quality and conformance with regulatory authorities. The position will promote Service Excellence, Employee satisfaction, process improvement activities and function as the primary back up for the Laboratory Administrative Director.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology is preferred. A bachelors degree in the physical sciences may be considered if paired with relevant experience in a clinical laboratory. Advanced management degrees or courses are highly preferred.
Experience

Current New York State license as a Certified Laboratory Technologist. Experienced Medical Technologist with a minimum of 6 years experience in the laboratory. Advanced degrees in Managemen...
