Manager External Reporting & Tax

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager, External Reporting & Tax to join our Finance team on a fixed‑term basis for 13 months to cover a parental leave. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality external financial and regulatory reporting, alongside the effective management of all taxation matters across Suncorp New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fully IFRS‑compliant financial reporting across all entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Lead the end‑to‑end external audit process, managing relationships with auditors and ensuring high‑quality deliverables
• Provide technical accounting advice on new transactions, projects, and evolving standards
