Manager, Fleet Maintenance

Overview British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC) maintains and operates the Expo and Millennium SkyTrain Lines from our central facilities in south Burnaby. The rate‑control rail system connects downtown Vancouver with suburbs such as Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody and Surrey. This role supports the daily maintenance of the rail system and focuses on safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage maintenance programs and activities for designated BCRTC assets to support the highest level of safety, efficiency and reliability.

Provide area‑specific input to overall maintenance strategic planning and develop operating plans and tactics to achieve department strategies.

Review and sign off on the annual maintenance plan (AMP) and participate in the 5‑year AMP forecast.
