Manager Governance - Regional Queensland Council (Hybrid / FIFO)
The Opportunity
A Regional Queensland Council is seeking an experienced Manager Governance to lead governance, compliance, and corporate administration functions across the organisation.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Communications, this role plays a critical part in ensuring Council meets its legislative obligations, maintains strong governance frameworks, and supports transparent decision-making. The Director is based in Cairns and attends the community on a structured schedule, with this role operating on a similar arrangement - approximately one week on-site per month.
