Position Overview

Global Wealth & Asset Management (GWAM) is the global asset management arm of Manulife, providing fee‑based wealth solutions to retail, retirement and institutional customers worldwide. The Manager, Operational Risk Management assists the AVP Head of the GWAM Risk Center by implementing and executing an effective risk governance management program and overseeing operational risk mitigation activities for the GWAM segment.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and delivery of tools and reports that meet corporate risk, business, client, and regulatory needs.
• Support the GWAM Risk Management Committee with reporting and action‑plan tracking.
• Review and support GWAM business Risk Officers for operational risk event management and corrective action plan tracking.
• Consolidate and report incidents, issues, actions, and other risk programs.
