Job Description
Step into the critical role of IPAC Manager at Extendicare, located in Kawartha Lakes. Champion infection control initiatives that enhance care for our residents.
In this vital position, you will support the Executive Director in implementing a person-centered approach to care and compliance with infection control standards. Your responsibilities will include leading the IPAC team, providing staff training, and overseeing auditing procedures to ensure optimal health outcomes in the home. You will focus on cultivating a culture of safety and quality in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate the IPAC education program
• Audit and trend analysis of IPAC practices
• Ensure compliance with directives from health authorities
