Manager – Product/Technology Development, Single Cylinder Engine (SCE) Testing Team

Location: Vaasa, Finland.

Role and Responsibilities

• Take care of the superior tasks and responsibilities including strong safety focus
• Plan and manage the technology and product development focused SCE testing activities and lead the people
• Maintain and develop the team's know‑how, competence and way of working
• Develop and implement the operational‑level action plan
• Report the progress and task status of the activities
• Ensure the quality of operation, results and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to other Wärtsilä organisations and proactively work to enable cross‑organizational cooperation
• Participate in technology & product development projects together with experts and project managers
• Develop engine testing and validation methods
