Manager - Planning and cost control

a) Purpose (Why does the position exist, WITH what objectives and WITHIN what limits)

• The primary function of the role is to provide leadership to the planning team and manage the planning & cost control of the assigned capital projects for the development of Offshore & Onshore oil & gas fields.
• The position reports to COO and has the central responsibility is towards meeting the overall company objective of successfully monetising it’s oil & gas field and planning & monitoring all AWEL’s activities from drilling & completion of wells, engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation, hook-up and commissioning of surface facilities like offshore platforms, subsea pipelines etc. It is not limited only to the planning function but encompasses integration of all aspects of the project management including engineering, procurement, projects, construction, commissioning, drilling, HSE, logistics, Finance, QA/QC, , senior managem...
