Manager – Planning (Retail Supermarket)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Planning Manager to lead demand forecasting, merchandise planning, and stock optimization for our retail supermarket operations. The role ensures product availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sales forecasts and seasonal merchandise plans
• Analyze sales trends, stock cover, and inventory turnover
• Coordinate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Stores teams
• Ensure optimal stock levels across all categories
• Monitor KPIs and prepare planning reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5–8 years of planning experience in a retail supermarket or FMCG chain
• Strong analytical and MS Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or planning systems preferred
